We are young

I was studying for my MCAT in a McDonald’s attached to Riley Children Hospital. My brother walked by with one of his friends who is my age. I figured his friend would assume I’m a med student (a lot of med students hang out there).

Later my brother informed me that his friend thought I was studying for my SAT…

AKA he thought I was a sophomore in high school.

Maybe one day people will see I’m not as young as I look (act?)…

God’s grace in my life today:

I’m glad I’ve already seen so many of His blessings at such a young age.

The Suite Life

God’s grace in my life today:

For the first time since our Europe adventure (the summer before I started college), my family is on vacation together.

Granted, it’s just for the weekend…not quite like a summer in Europe.

But still…

Living in a hotel, just like we did for 6 whole weeks (dream come true for a 7 and 9 year old!) after moving to our third state!

Good times living the suite life 🙂

Still in love

My parents met on March 29th, many years ago.

They celebrated yesterday by going out on a date, just like they do every year to celebrate.

Seriously, how cute is that?

I kept asking my mom how she can possibly remember the exact date of the day she met my dad.

She told me that I’ll remember when I fall in love.

Was it love at first sight for them? Maybe. Doubtful, but maybe.

I guess when you know, you know…

God’s grace in my life today:

I’m so blessed to have parents who are still in love with each other and celebrate the “little” things.

Happy :)

God’s grace in my life today:

I was asked to be a bridesmaid today, emailed back and forth with a bride who asked if I’d play piano for her wedding, and I saw some progress in an area I’ve been praying about! God is so gracious!

God’s grace in my life today:

I’m so glad He was gracious enough to turn two girls who couldn’t stand each other into best friends who stay in touch despite the distance.

I’m so thankful for my best friend MW and was blessed to hear her tell me again that she prays for me every day.

Soon and very soon my King is coming.

…Though I have not seen Him, my heart knows him well…

I will be with one I love
With unveiled face I’ll see Him
There my soul will be satisfied
Soon and very soon.

God’s grace in my life today:

I love praising the Lord through music. Being part of a worship team this morning brought me so much joy!
